SNOW!!!!!!

It has finally snowed! Yesterday it snowed 9-12 in. and today we had to do the paper route in it. It was a lot of fun running around in the snow and delivering papers. Yesterday we had had all of the staff of our church over to our house for lunch but then it started snowing and me and my brother had to shovel the driveway. We would shovel the entire driveway and by that time the other part of the driveway would be covered. Merry Christmas.

Christmas ......................ON A PLANE!!!!!????

So this Christmas our family is going to Texas on Christmas Day. This is sad because we always stay home in our pajamas all day and don't go anywhere. This year we will open our presents on Christmas Eve. But we'll have fun in Texas with all of our friends and relatives.

Eggs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our chickens hadn't laid an egg for 7 months but now (finally) they are. We are getting 3-5 eggs a day and yesterday one laid a green egg! We have three different kinds of chickens; 2 Aracanunas, 4 Rhode Island Reds, and 2 Plymouth Rocks. The Aracanunas are the ones that lay different colored eggs. We had some of the eggs the other day and they were the greatest! Well that's all for now.

Tis the Season

Our house has been preparing for Christmas this past week with lots of decorations. We got our Christmas tree from tree farm about 20 miles from our house. It only cost 21$! We went to a friend's house the other day and made gingerbread houses. We all have Christmas gifts scoped out for ourselves and others. But In all this bustle we try not to forget the true meaning of Christmas that Jesus came to die for our world.
